Objectives: To measure the level of nurse’s knowledge and attitude toward cancer pain management, and the associated factors among oncology nurses at Dubai hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

It has been evidenced based that the next two decades will see dramatic changes in the health needs of different regional and national populations. In the developing regions countries, non communicable diseases such as depression and heart disease are fast replacing the traditional enemies, such as infectious diseases and malnutrition, as the leading causes of disability and premature death. By the year 2020, non communicable diseases are expected to account for seven out of every ten deaths in the developing countries regions, compared with less than half today. Injuries, both unintentional and intentional, are also growing in importance, and by 2020 infectious diseases will keep as a Major source of ill health.

Trypanosomosis: Prevalence in Cattle in Dibati District, Metekel Zone, North Western Ethiopia

A cross sectional study was carried out from March to May 2016 to determine the effect of trypanosomosis on cattle packed Cell volume and body conditions of cattle and tsetse apparent density using parasitological, hematological and deployments of mono-pyrimidal traps in Dibate district, Northwestern Ethiopia. The overall prevalence of bovine trypanosomosis was 2.23%. Trypanosoma congolense and T.vivax were the two species of Trypanosome that were found to be the major trypanosomes affecting cattle in the area.
